Join us for a lively celebration of the new year! Festive bento boxes and an open bar will be available for all. Evening events will also include a prize raffle and a 'Heavensturn gulal ceremony.'

Osechi Ryori

In Kugane, stacks of bento are prepared beforehand and eaten during the first three days of the new year, the better to welcome good fortune while enjoying a rest from cooking. Each item included in these bento boxes is considered an edible lucky charm and represents a particular wish for the new year.

Choose from a selection of small cakes - Rolanberry Cream, Chocolate Cherry, or Lemon Buttercream - that all have a Fortune Charm baked within. When your character eats one, have them roll a /random to determine the fortune they receive:

0-249 Health - a single glazed pecan promises good health in the future of one who finishes the cake.

250-499 Wealth - a chocolate Gil piece speaks of upcoming wealth for one who finishes this cake.

749 Love - a small marzipan heart speaks of love in the future of one who finishes this cake.

750 - 999 Misfortune - a sizable chunk of black salt is nestled into this cake, and threatens bad luck upon the recipient, unless they eat the entire cake. (Wouldn’t hurt to get an extra cake to help counter the bad, right?)

Avalonia Réserve

An elegant sparkling wine said to be recently revived from a vineyard in the Dravanian Forelands. Its aroma is reminiscent of citrus blossom and olives, and the body has notes of chamomile and pluot.

Taru Sake

A traditional sake aged in yoshino sugi barrels, imparting a distinctive woody, slightly smoky aroma and flavor that cleanses the palate.

Sohm Al Sparkler

A popular treat from the Dravanian Hinterlands, local snurbleberries are mixed with sugar and sparkling water to produce a deliciously sweet-and-tart sparkling cordial that remains non-alcoholic.
